Hi Janice;
I'm on the other side of the country (Cherry Hill,NJ - just outside Philadelphia) but my son lives in Carlsbad, CA...anywhere near? I'm 65, widowed 7 years and would love to be a pen pal!

Hi Janice- Recently although widowed for almost a year and half, Ive decided it would be great to have love in my life. Being an observant Jew it's difficult to just have men friends, anyway keep busy with my children and grandchildren and involved in business with my son. Wish you happiness, health, love etc. A good sweet year. Betty

Hi Janice, Glad I found one Conservative thinking person on this site as many seem to be Liberal. Although sometimes labels are misleading. Hopefully we all realize the Arabs and their so called phony religion has become the biggest threat to the world. I try to be possitive and pray that G'd will bring sanity (peace) to Israel and the world. take care----Betty

Hi Janet

My name is Sharon and the internet friendship is very new to me. I am not sure if I am responding correctly to the site. Hope you get this message. I joined recently. I am widowed a year and am going through a very rough period now. I have tons of friends all of whom have shared the last 25 years of my life with me and my husband. We all watched our children grow up together. I am the only one who has lost their spouse. I can't bare to be without them and I can't bare to be with them. This past weekend we all went to a wedding and I fell apart. My children live very far away and I am so sad and lonely. Work keeps me busy but evenings and weekends are so difficult. I look forward to chatting with you again. Sharon

Dear Janice,

The history of our people is the history of community and this site is no different. If each DoubleChai.com member were to bring 3 new members to the site and those new members were to bring 3 new members and so on, this site would soon serve every Jewish widow & widower. Just imagine our strength in numbers and our diversity of experience and how each of us could reach out to one another.

Please take a moment to follow the link below and invite the people you know (even if it is only one other person) who would find the DoubleChai.com community beneficial and inspiring to join the site.

I thank you in advance for your participation. Our future as a site and the services we hope to offer depends a great deal on our members reaching out to their real world contacts about DoubleChai.com.

Gratefully,
Harry
