I will be your e-pal Rivkah. This seems like a nice site. It is too bad it is not used by more people. I only joined tonight.
Hello, everyone.
Does anyone live in the Hartford, D.C. or Pittsburgh area?
My story in short: Last June, my 64 yr.old husband, Neal died after 3 months on hospice, from a rare cancer called angiosarcoma.
Last summer, our Golden Retriever, Sammy who was a retired seeing eye dog died of the same cancer. It is common in some breeds of dogs and rare in humans. It's hard to believe, but it's true.
My beloved husband (63) passed suddenly 13 months ago. The year has been excruciating, however, you must believe, when you wake up daily, take small steps to try to refocus your life, things will be a little better eventually & you will realize that you are still here not to live in pain but to experience what is still good in your life.
Thank you for sharing those very kind sentiments, Rivkah.
