I am sorry to say that I forgot the name of the one person who I think joined this group after I started it some time ago, but can the other two members let me know who they are and where they are in Central Texas. I am in North Austin. I have been widowed six years now. Irene

Hi Ginny, nice to make your acquaintance. I only know one Jewish couple in San Antonio....Wendy and Stan Drezek. It is a fairly small Jewish community.
I was thnking recently it is nearly six years that I have been widowed, and this year I decided that I would more actively try to put more men in my life, whether they were Jewish or not. I am really awkward about the whole thing...how about you? Have you been able to adjust to single life? Of course, I have learned to live alone, and not like it very much,and I have learned to go places alone, but it is very hard, and often lonely. What has been your experience? Do you have children nearby? I am lucky that I have two young adult daughters who live here in Austin. Let me know. Irene -
