While I've met a few men in the recent past I haven't met anyone that I could have a permanent relationship with, this site has helped me sort out my feelings and eases the loneliness that I've been feeling recently. It will be two years since my husband passed away and maybe it is time to get close to someone else-but there are complications. Believe it or not although I'm in my 70's I still think it's possible to have that special someone---but not sure. I am shabbos observant and Kosher and probably won't relocate-- as my children and grandchildren live nearby---but it's a small world and we need to help each other to live up to our potental and whether I meet or not it's good to talk to someone that understands.
Betty, many thanks for getting in touch.
I am sorry to hear about your loss.

What was your husband's name?
How long were you married.

How has the site helped sort out the feelings and eased the lonliness?

Again, many thanks for your response and I hope you don't mind answer those few new questions.

Sincerely,

Howard
Hi Howard- My husbands mame was Bernard (Baruch Lazer) we celebrated our 50th anniversary the November before January when he passed away. We also were able to go to my grandsons Bar Mitzvah which was in August at the time he was on Chemo therapy and very weak but made a speech about how thankful we were to our rabbi that helped us and our family become observant Jews. and of course proud of our grandson etc. My husband and I were very involved with our children and so I still am which takes much of my time. After a car accident last January lonliness really set in-I think while your forced to change your life this site is inspirational as you see you still have a life of your own. so yes just by confronting the problem solutions are found thank G'd. Betty - Thank you.
Betty, again, many thanks for your help.
I will let you know when and where this piece runs.

Betty, one more question.
Have you met anyone on this site?
How has it gone?
Ok, that's two.
Thanks again.
Howard
Didn't meet any one on this site yet. But then again it is a new site.,and many people out there. Betty
Two more questions.
What do/did you do for a living and where do you live?

Thanks again so much.
Howard
My husband and son have a closeout wholesale business. Since and prior to my husbands passing away -out of necessity of helping my husband did get involved and still am. I live in S. Florida near the beach in Hallandale.
Betty, many thanks.
I will let you know when and where this story runs.
